What is ODET?
The Organizational Development and Employee Training (ODET) Department provides innovative, responsive and accessible professional development programs that support the college mission, build community and increase employee effectiveness.
The ODET Department was created in 1998 to provide training opportunities to support and enhance the professional development of all employees.

The Edmonds Community College Organizational Development and Employee Training (ODET) Department provides innovative, responsive and accessible professional development programs that support the college mission, build community and increase employee effectiveness. We respect all forms of diversity and actively promote inclusivity, collaboration and social justice.
Programs and Services
ODET programs are designed for adult learners. Program topics include business skill building, community building, leadership, diversity, safety, compliance, wellness and recognition. In-class courses are tiypically held in the Employee Training Center in the North Campus Complex, Clearview 121. Online courses acan be taken at most any computer with 24/7 access.
ODET Council
The ODET Council is a group of campus employees who advise the ODET Department and support the personal and professional development of campus employees.The Council meets on a quarterly basis and is comprised of classified, exempt and faculty members.
